We are happy to report that the previously communicated issues surrounding the backup of IBS have been repaired and IBS Backup is now fully functional. Thank you for your patience.

Important update regarding TOPS IBS

We are currently still experiencing issues, but have identified the source of the issue and are working with our vendors to get it resolved. We encourage you to make manual backups in the meantime until service is restored.

It is important to note that existing backups are not affected, as this is only a connection issue.

If you need to obtain copies of your backed-up data for restoration purposes, please submit a ticket to TOPS support for the most expedient response.

2021 Year End 1099 for TOPS Pro/iQ

TOPS has updated the 1099 process to be compliant with the changes made to the 2021 IRS tax filing requirements.

TOPS Server Migration Beginning 3/19

TOPS continues to grow its technology's underlying infrastructure and will be migrating the TOPS Connect Ecosystem over the weekend starting 3/19/2021 through 3/21/2021.

 

This may cause outages of TOPS Go, and the TOPS Connect Sync service during the migration period. These products are only applicable to TOPS Professional and TOPS iQ customers.

New Process for 1099's. (Article Below)

Due to the 2020 IRS changes to 1099’s this year requiring e-filing, some changes have been made to TOPS Professional & iQ.  

  1. Starting this year, we will no longer have the option to print 1099’s from TOPS Professional. The vendor information will need to be exported out of Professional, then imported to 3rd party program, like Yearli.

  2. We have a new setting for fields regarding the new 1099-NEC forms.

Year-End 2020 Upcoming Update

With Year-End approaching, we wanted to notify you and your team of upcoming changes to how 1099’s are processed with your TOPS Software product.

As a result of the revised 2020 IRS requirements for 1099 reporting, it was necessary for TOPS to modify the way TOPS Professional & TOPS iQ Year-End 1099’s are processed.

At this moment, we are finalizing the necessary changes to the program and will release a detailed Knowledge Article stating all the changes made to the process.
