FieldOps Mobile App - July 2024 Updates

  • This KBA will highlight the July 18th, 2024 updates and enhancements.
  • For a more in-depth look at Enumerate FieldOps, our mobile inspection application (CCRs) please visit this KBA: FieldOps User Guide and Demo.

Note:

  • You need to be connected to the internet to start and end the inspection.
  • FieldOps downloads a working copy of the CCR record from Central when you start the inspection.
    • Therefore, any changes made to that particular CCR in Central will not be synced to FieldOps until you close the inspection with the stable internet connection even if you are connected to the internet while conducting the inspection.
  • Please avoid making changes to CCR records in Central if an inspector is currently conducting an onsite inspection with the FieldOps.

In response to partnering with our customers, several improvements have been implemented in FieldOps to streamline CCR processes and enhance the user experience.

1. When the "Remember Me" checkbox is checked at login screen, the following occurs:

    • If the session times out without a manual logout, the email address field will automatically populate with the last used email address upon returning to the login page.
    • If you manually log out or the token expires, the email address field will also populate with the last used email address.
    • If you check the "Remember Me" box and return to FieldOps within 4 hours without logging out, you will be able to access the application without needing to log in again.
    • If the "Remember Me" checkbox is not checked, you will need to enter your email address and password manually each time you return to the login page.

2. Now you will be notified when an image fails to upload, so that you can take immediate action to resolve the issue and ensure all necessary images are successfully uploaded.

3. You can access the list of failed images and attempt to upload them again or remove them.

  • When you tap on the notification, you can see a detailed error message explaining the reason for the failure (e.g., network error, file format not supported, image size too large).
  • After viewing the detailed error message, you will have the option to retry uploading another image.

4. In the updated version, ALL properties under the community are displayed in a comprehensive list view.

5. The map view exclusively shows properties with addresses that have rooftop-level accuracy, ensuring precise location details.

6. The limitation on the number of CCRs displayed for each community has been eliminated, allowing you to access and view all CCRs associated with a community.

7. CCRs within existing accrued batches in Central are now clearly labeled.

8. Editing restrictions apply to batch CCRs that are accrued, such as editing the original CCR. You can still add comments and attach images for additional documentation. (Same as Central)

10. The inspection completion process has now been transitioned to operate as a background job, minimizing disruptions to your workflow.

11. A dedicated Job History page has been introduced within FieldOps, accessible through the hamburger menu in the Community List view.

  • This page provides comprehensive insights into past job activities, facilitating better tracking and management of historical records.
